Research Interests : Horticulture/Genetic resources

Climatechange has impacted agriculture, especially horticultural crops which are themajor cash crops for many farmers. For developing countries, locally availablematerials used production approach is essential and from a kind of cultivationto market framework is also important from the soil preparation to market, including fertilization, irrigation, nursery management, fruit/branch control, postharvest treatment, and information management literacy. Ongoing climatechange has also impacted small-scale farmers, the majority of agriculturalproduction worldwide. Horticultural technical improvement and KAIZEN mustinclude gender/nutrition/value-chain/biodiversity issues to empower resilience. In recent years, small-scale agriculture and women's participation have focusedmore on improving agricultural livelihood. My research part is to validate anddevelop techniques for improving climate change resilience in horticulturalproduction in drylands, including majorities of developing countries.
