Research Interests : Dryland Health and Medicine, Surgery: Our group conducts research on “climate change and human health”. Climate change issue including desertification and abnormal weather is one of the greatest threat all over the world. However, the effects of climate change on human health are not well known. Making proactive efforts to deal with climate change will enable human to avoid suffering from these impacts. We are doing interdisciplinary and international studies related to this theme.
