Prof. Paolo Billi receives the Best Poster Presentation Award!
Specially Appointed Professor. Paolo Billi attended the 15thInternational Symposium on Geo-disaster Reduction hosted in Shimane and Kyoto prefecture during the August 29 – 30, 2017. About 80 delegated participated in the symposium from China, Japan, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Czech Republic.
He presented a poster, co-authored with Yonas Tadesse, Aklulu Amsalu and Rossano Ciampalini, titled “Climate change, human impact and hydro-meteorological hazard in Dire Dawa district, Ethiopia” and has been awarded the best poster presentation of the conference.poster
