A book “Rangeland Plants of Mongolia 2nd Edition, Vol.1, Vol.2” is now published

Despite the delay due to the pandemic of COVID-19, the press release and the launch event of “Rangeland Plants of Mongolia 2nd Edition, Vol.1, Vol.2”, which was published in Spring of 2020 in collaboration with Mongolian University of Life Science, was held on October 19, 2020 at the Mongolian University of Life Science.

Total of 65 guests including Vice President of Mongolian University of Life Science and guests from Mongolian Academy of Science, Mongolian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Plant Pathology Research Institute etc. joined the launch event. Prof. Undarmaa, a co-author of the book, explained the significance of this publication to the management of Mongolian rangelands.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Profs. Yamanaka (ALRC/IPDRE, Tottori University) and Prof. Oguro (Tokyo University) could not join the launch event. We are strongly looking forward to the end of this pandemic and resuming our academic collaboration with Mongolian partners.
