Mid-term review of Department of Dryland Science for 1st-year master students was held at the Public Relations Center of Tottori University on Thursday, November 29.

  In order to finalize the mid-term review, students who belong to the Department of Dryland Science were able to improve their research by presenting their current research contents and the result etc. and exchanged among other students and faculty members.

  On the review day, 2nd-year master students who enrolled in October, FY2017 and 1st-year master students conducted their poster presentations and short-talks for two minutes. More than 70 participants including the faculty members and undergraduate students who belong to each laboratory gathered and made active discussions.

  Besides, the students created their materials for the short talks in English, the moderator spoke English and international instructors participated in this event as the department aims at cultivating global and practical human resources. As a result, this mid-term review was the international event which research presentations were conducted in English and the participants could expand their network.
