AY2020 New Students Guidance was held on April 9th
Department of Dryland Science hold a guidance for newly entered students on April 9th, 2020.
Total number of 19 students entered our department this year. This guidance was the very first opportunity for them to gather all together since the entrance ceremony had been cancelled.
First, Prof. Yamanaka had a speech and welcomed all new students. He told them that under the current situation of worldwide outbreak of novel coronavirus, the necessity of international cooperation and solving various problems in drylands is increasing rapidly.
Secondly, Prof. Ogata gave the explanation regarding the curriculum, class registration and the master's thesis submission.
Then, Prof. Tsujimoto introduce some of the international activities and program which the DDS students can join.
We do hope all of them will have a great time while they study in DDS.
