Orientation for the 16 new students coming on board for AY2025, Department of Dryland Science
The orientation for new students of the Department of Dryland Science, Graduate School of Sustainability Science, was held on Thursday, April 3rd, from 10:00 am in the large seminar room of the Faculty of Agriculture building.
Along with the 16 new students coming onboard in the Master's program, the head, and the vice head, of the Department, and members of the Steering Committee of the International Platform for Dryland Research and Education, were present.
During the orientation, Professor Inosako, the head of the Department of Dryland Science, gave congratulatory remark and advised the students to give their absolute best during the next 2 years.
Professor Shimizu, one of the vice heads of the department, lead the rest of the orientation, providing detailed information and instruction regarding the courses in the department curriculum and registration.
Furthermore, Professor Inosako shared information about opportunities available for the graduate students to study abroad, and encouraged the students to take advantage of the programs the university has to offer.
