AY2025 Interim Presentation for the DDS First Year Master Students

The Interim Presentation session for first-year students was held at the University Hall on Tottori University's Koyama Campus on 28 November,2025.
This annual session serves as an opportunity for students to learn about the research subjects of other students, receive feedback on their work from professors and students in different fields, and engage in valuable cross-disciplinary exchange and discussion.

During the “Poster Session" where the students'research topics and contents are summerized for a display on large posters, the first year Master students had a chance to present their researches in front of their own posters. Many participants listened to the presentations with great interest and learned about what researches have been done in the first half of the AY2025 in the Department of Dryland Science.
This session was attended not only by the Master’s course students but also the Doctors and under graduate students as well as the faculty members of different fields in DDS.

Second-year students handled the reception duties as well as assisting with event preparations including venue set ups.
Furthermore, “Short Talks” by each presenter, pre-recorded brief presentations, had been made available for viewing online. The Short Talks and the Poster Presentations were evaluated by faculty members who voted for the award winners of this year’s Interim Presentation

The Best Presentation Prize was awarded to AMARE WODAJU MOLLA and Ms Akiko Matsumoto this year.
